My Story

I Believe Leadership Is About People, Not Titles.

Dr. Stephanie Duguid grew up watching her mother transform lives through genuine connection.

As a Welcome Wagon representative and longtime educator in Sugar Land, Texas, her mother showed her that leadership begins with seeing people, listening well, and making others feel valued.

At the same time, Stephanie developed resilience and discipline as a competitive multisport athlete before beginning her career in athletic training and education.

Then, on her third day of teaching, her life changed.

At twenty-seven years old, she lost her mother in a tragic car accident just days before 9/11.

That loss shaped the way she would lead for the next three decades.

As a teacher, athletic trainer, and administrator across K-12 and higher education, she saw the growing impact of stress, burnout, communication breakdowns, and disconnected leadership cultures on both people and performance.

And through that work, she discovered a defining truth:

Leadership is not just about what we do.


It is about the culture we create through how we communicate, connect, and show up every day.
